A low-emittance and high-current RF gun in the injector linac is crucial in order to have a 40-times higher luminosity at the SuperKEKB collider compared with the previous KEKB project. The required injection beam parameters are; (emittance) 20 mm.mrad, (energy spread) 0.1%, (beam bunch charge) 5 nC/bunch, (bunches per pulse) 2 bunches separated by 96 ns, (pulse repetition) 50 Hz. It is preferable to generate 10 nC/bunch beam as well for positron production. It is composed of; (a) a high power laser system with an Yb fiber oscillator, multiple stages of Yb fiber amplifiers and thin-disk amplifiers, and frequency doublers, (b) an Ir5Ce or Ir7Ce2 photo cathode, and (c) a quasi-travelling-wave side-couple (QTWSC) cavity.
